Proton guitars are limited run USA crafted instruments custom built in our Southern California shop. We carefully select the tone woods and hardware for your Proton and lovingly build each one as if it was for ourselves, each creation being unique.

Our neck joint doesn’t use wood screws that come loose and steal your tone. We use aircraft grade brass threaded inserts and hex screws allowing for the tightest fit possible and allowing thru-neck like sustain and tonality. There is a reason the pro’s use them extensively in the studio.

New group of high-end quilt and flame tops all with 24 frets and roasted maple necks and fretboards. These all play exactly like they look…like a dream. All come with a nice hardshell case.

All handcrafted with the finest materials by skilled luthiers.

The Proton OMC finish builds represents the ultimate Proton USA deluxe limited-edition build. This breakthrough finishing process is an organic 2 phase multi color system that is more controlled and creative than simple, random and more common “swirl” processes. These particular instruments are prototypes and not for sale. There will only be a few produced. Each one comes with a hand painted canvas example of your finish and a hard-shell case that actually charges up all the glow in the dark Luminlay dots and side markers on the instrument. Each comes with a serial number and hand signed certificate of authenticity.
